Coming Soon: Acquiring Trouble

Coming January 18th!
Acquiring Trouble is the Third book in the Bluegrass Brothers Series.

As a natural born leader, Miles Davies accomplishes anything he puts his mind to. Upon returning home from his special forces duties, he has become the strong foundation of the Davies family and his company. But that strong foundation is about to get rocked in a big way by the one woman that always left him fascinated and infuriated.

Keeneston’s notorious bad girl is back! Morgan Hamilton’s life ended and began on her high school graduation night when she left Keeneston with no plan to ever return. As a self-made businesswoman, Morgan is always looking for her next victory. Little did she know that next victory would involve acquiring the company that belonged to the one man she always wanted for herself.

With their careers and lives on the line, will Miles and Morgan choose love or ambition?

1. When is your next new release due out?

I just released Come A Little Bit Closer!

2. Tell us about the new release you have coming out? Is it part of one of your series?

Come A Little Bit Closer is the seventh book in my Sullivan Family series and features Smith Sullivan, a famous actor in the middle of the most important movie of his career when he's distracted by the self-possessed and utterly sexy Valentina Landan – the sister and manager of his co-star.

3. You write a lot of different series. The Sullivan Family, which your previous release, Let Me Be the One, hit the New York Times and USA Today Best-Seller's list! The Bad Boys of Football, Hotshot Firefighters and the Take Me Series. What is your favorite thing about each series?

I love how to revisit characters that we've already seen fall in love. With a series, we can get continual glimpses of their happily ever after – what they're up to, whether they have children.

4. If you were to venture outside of contemporary romance genre and begin a completely new series, what genre what it be?

Honestly, I love romance so much I can't imagine writing something else!  The farthest I'd veer would probably be the “New Adult” genre where the characters are in their late teens and early twenties vs. 20s/30s like my current romances.

5. What one thing can you not live without while you are writing?

I have little rituals that keep me sane. I take a daily hike, love to swim, drink endless bottles of San Pelligrino and also eat these delicious Trader Joe mint chocolate cookies. I also listen to a handful of songs on repeat while I write my books.

6. What was the last book by another author that you read?

The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst. Love her!

7. What is the craziest thing you've done when coming up with an idea or during research for a book?

My “crazy” probably has less to do with research and more to do with how much time I spent obsessing over my Sullivans. :) It's pretty much an every-waking-hour situation while I'm writing a book...which is all the time!

 Note from Bella:

Thank you so much to everyone who has been reading – and loving – my Sullivans! I absolutely love hearing from all of you, so please come find me on my website at www.BellaAndre.com and drop me a note. :) Bella

Thanks so much for taking time to visit with me today. It’s been a lot of fun!!

Thank you! I loved being here.

Week Four of the Fantasy Movie Vote!

Mo's results are in.  The winner of the poll was...  Sendhil Ramamurthy!  He was able to pull away from Oded Fehr as many believe he would make a better Ahmed.  Can't say I would complain.
And now, we pick our favorite play Dani.  There are four choices listed below based on nominations from readers of the Bluegrass Series.  Feel free to leave your vote in the comments section or go to the facebook poll HERE to cast your vote.

Jordana Brewster
Cote de Pablo
Mila Kunis
Megan Fox

Voting for Dani will continue until Thursday November 15th, 2012.  Check back next week for the next poll.  I am still taking nominations for the following:  Cole and Paige.

Rising Storm Announced

We're fully into summer in Keeneston! The days are long and hot and the sprinklers are on full blast! A perfect night for me is to grill out and have dinner on the deck. I enjoy the sound of the cows behind our house and sip some Rose Sister Special Ice Tea as I read at night.

Coming in Mid August will be the second book in the Bluegrass Brothers Series, Rising Storm. In Rising Storm Marshall discovers love is not always smooth sailing. But, with the help and advice from the whole town of Keeneston, maybe he'll find his happily ever after.

To get ready for Rising Storm, make sure you read Cade's story in Bluegrass Undercover, now available in all ebook outlets and in paperback.

Help! My Husband is Watching Football!

It’s football time in the Bluegrass!  These are the words that turn my husband into an obsessed couch potato every year.  If you’re married to a football fan, then you surely encounter the same phenomenon with its own special twist.  So the question is: What do you do when your husband is glued to the TV for hours upon hours watching football?  After several years of thorough testing, I believe I have found the perfect list:

  1. READ!
I am quite the reader and can tear through a book in the time it takes my husband to watch three football games back-to-back-to-back.  While he watches grown men destroy each other, I often seek to entertain myself with a good romance or mystery novel.  You say you need a few suggestions?  Well, since you asked: Bluegrass Series!

  1. Watch a Movie
Whether you go to the theater or rent a DVD to watch in another room, movies can be a nice escape from your husband’s constant questioning of the referee’s ability to see.

  1. Go Out with the Girls
Many of your girlfriends face the same fate every Autumn.  Why not get together with them for drinks or dinner?  What may start out as a support group can quickly develop into a great time out on the town.

  1. Manicure & Pedicure
He spoils himself with nachos, beer, and a big screen television.  Why not indulge for yourself and treat those hands and feet to a nice day of luxury at your local spa?

  1. Minor Home Improvement
Sometimes, the urge to Do-It-Yourself strikes. I may want to update the window treatments or plan the next Honey-Do project for my husband.  No better time to plan his demise than while he is glued to the game.  Later, when he asks when you asked him about all of this, just tell him he must not have been listening while the game was on.

  1. Dance Lessons
I really want to learn the exotic dances featured on all of the network reality shows.  My husband is far less interested.  So while he watches the game, I may just have to enter myself in lessons.  Now that is athleticism.

  1. Enjoy the Outdoors
As you sit next to him and see so many people enjoying the outdoors, the mood may strike you to take a hike through the local woods.  Do it!  Enjoy the fresh air and get some great exercise.  Nature is our #1 inspiration and I certainly take advantage of it as often as possible.

  1. Watch the Game
Wait!  Hear me out.  Watch a game with the hubby. Next time you want you husband to snuggle you close as you watch some girly romantic comedy, he’ll be more inclined to sit through it with you.  Marriage is about sacrifice… some of the time. ;)

Enjoy the Fall!  The cold of Winter will be here too soon.
